Greetings, Celine dreamers!
The
year of 2002 is coming to an end. A New Year is on the way. What
does it have for us all? Who knows where the road will lead us?
Well, Celine's road will lead her to Las Vegas. I just hope that
the roads of all Celine's fans will lead to Las Vegas at some
point too!

According
to CelineDreams.com, a web site that compiles and analyzes dreams
of Ms. Dions fans, there's a pattern in almost

recognizable. In business terms, it means effective advertising
opportunities and guaranteed sales.
The
latest example is DaimlerChrysler tapping into Dions image,
hoping to make its own bottomline dream come true. The automaker
is changing its corporate strategy, and now wants to attract younger
and more affluent consumers. Celine Dion has a role to play there.
A
few weeks ago, Chrysler announced the formation of an advertising
partnership with Celine Dion. The terms of the three-year deal
were not disclosed. According to the auto makers press release
the partnership launches in early 2003 with a Chrysler brand TV
spot featuring Ms. Dion and her music. A new, original song created
specifically for the ad campaign is a key feature of the partnership.
Plus personal appearances by Ms. Dion, special consumer promotions,
retail initiatives, television programming and what not.
Chrysler
banks on Celine Dion. "Celine Dion personifies the Chrysler
brand slogan, 'Drive Equals Love,'" said Jim Schroer, Executive
Vice President, Global Sales and Marketing, DaimlerChrysler. "This
is the kind of branded harmony you dream about."
Having
fulfilled her own dreams, Dion is now entering the business of
making other peoples dreams come true. Chrysler. Who is
next?

Celine
Dreams gets a lot of e-mails from Celine Dion's fans. Here's one
that came from a US marine, Matthew. Matthew has a big dream.

"My
dream is for my girlfriend to get tickets for one of Celine Dion's
Shows in Vegas. She has always loved Celine Dion and we wanted
to go see her when she was touring, but now its not possible,
because of work, school and expenses. She really wants to go with
some of her friend, but it costs so much to go out there and see
her and even get tickets. She would really love to see her in
concert and I would love for her to be able to do that. I wish
I could get her tickets for Christmas. She works so hard and goes
to school full-time too, she really needs a break. I think her
and her friends getting the chance to go see Celine Dion would
be so much fun and a big break. I hope see is able to go see her
someday. This is her dream, but mine also, for her. She does so
much for me, and I want to do something for her."
