Hello everyone,

I hope you are having a good and eventful summer. This month's newsletter is entirely devoted to Celine's Las Vegas extravaganza "A New Day". If you are one of few lucky dogs who got already to see Celine in Las Vegas, drop us a line, and share your experiences. We'd be happy to hear your comments about the show. E-mail us at dreamon@celinedreams.com. And of course, if you have a (sleep) dream that involves Celine, send it to us, and your dream may be interpreted on this web site for free.

Regards,

"A New Day" and dreams...

"A New Day", an unprecedented combination of live performance and state-of the-art technology, has been one of Celine's wildest dreams come true. “This show marks a turning point in my professional journey,” she said. “It will guide me to self-discovery, to push the limits of performance and offer a new stage experience to my devoted fans.”

But the show designed by the wizard of Cirque du Soleil Franco Dragon and described as "a fusion of song, theatre, dance and technical innovation" became a dream event to attend for a lot of Celine Dion's fans. Flying Celine, dancers and the piano, a giant LCD screen are to create an atmosphere of a dream with it's unique visual experience no fan wants to miss.

Symbolism of "A New Day"

  • The poster advertising "A New Day" features "lips formed by the suggested pulse of a heartbeat." Preceding the opening of the show, Celine released her album called "One Heart". A coincidence?
  • A song list of "A new Day" includes an interesting animal - an aria of Lucia de Lammermoor from the opera of Gaetano Donizetti with the same title. What is it? Well, there are reports that opera singing is one of Celine's original ambitions. Moreover, several times during her singing career Celine performed with classically-trained singers like Luciano Pavarotti, Andrea Bocelli realizing her ambition. It might be that Celine decided to include this incredibly vocally demanding aria of Lucia into "A New Day" to satisfy her own operatic desire.

Mary Roberts, 21 from the United States is day dreaming about meeting Celine...

"My dream would be to meet Celine and listen to her sing live. She has been such an inspiration for me. When A Decade of Songs was released, I was a couple of months pregnant. My husband had his mother buy the CD for me, for a Valentine's Day present that year. He was at a basic training to join the US Navy. Celine's CDs helped us both get through those times apart. Her music teaches so much about love and family. It shows that with strength and a loving bond you can make it through anything."
