December 6, 2007 - CELINE DION'S WORLD FAMOUS LAS VEGAS SHOW APPEARS ON THE BIG SCREEN FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY ™ FOLLOWING FINAL CURTAIN CALL

The final curtain will fall on Celine Dion's record- breaking engagement of A New Day … at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas this month, but fans can see this unique theatrical show, recorded earlier this year, featuring the biggest selling female artist of all time in an exclusive One Night Only™ event on the big screen in their local movie theatre – presented in association with National CineMedia's FATHOM, Chrysler and AEG Network LIVE .

Celine Dion A New Day… created by DRAGONE and presented by Chrysler in-theatre event will be simulcast to more than 200 participating AMC Entertainment Inc., Cinemark USA Inc., Goodrich Quality Theaters, Kerasotes ShowPlace Theatres, Marcus Theatres, National Amusements and Regal Entertainment Group movie theatres as well as the Penn Cinema (Lititz, PA) and State Theatre (State College, PA) performing arts centers.

November 20, 2007 - Halifax concert cancelled

The concert's promoter says Céline Dion won't perform at the Halifax Common in Halifax on Aug. 23 because the venue is "not appropriate".

This November, Celine will be releasing a brand-new English album titled 'Taking Chances!' The new album is scheduled to be released on November 12 in Europe and November 13 in North America. Celine said the following about her new album, "I think this album represents a positive evolution in my career. June 21, 2007 - Hillary Clinton votes for Celine Dion

Hillary Clinton has announced that her campaign song will be Celine Dion's "You and I" after a month-long public vote on her website. Dion's song was previously used as a theme tune for Air Canada. April 22, 2007 - Celine Supports Parkinson Celebrity Auction

PLATES FOR PARKINSON’S – More than 30 celebrities have designed and autographed plates to be auctioned on EBAY from April 20 to May 5 as a fundraiser for the Parkinson Society Maritime Region in Canada.

Proceeds from the auction will benefit research, education and support services.

The tulip is the Society’s symbol of hope and April is Parkinson’s Awareness Month. More than 1.2 million people in Canada and the US live with Parkinson ’s for which there is no known cause or cure.

The North American release date for the upcoming Ennio Morricone tribute album featuring Celine's new song "I Knew I Loved You" is scheduled for February 20.

February 8 , 2007 - Celine To Perform at the 79th Academy Awards!

We can now confirm that Celine will perform at the 79th Academy Awards ceremony on February 25, 2007. Celine will participate in a tribute to Ennio Morricone and perform "I Knew I Loved You." The song will be featured on the Ennio Morricone tribute album, scheduled to be released later this month in several markets around the world and will also likely be included on Celine's next English studio album, set for release in October of this year. This will be Celine's sixth Oscar performance, which means she will have performed at the live awards ceremony more times than any other artist.

Celine Dion is currently working on a new French-language album, which is scheduled to be released in France and other French speaking countries in May 2007.

This new album is a concept project in that all the song lyrics have been written by female writers from France and Quebec. There are many collaborators: Françoise Dorin, Christine Orban, Nina Bouraoui, Marie Laberge, Lise Payette, Denise Bombardier, Nathalie Nechtschein, Janette Bertrand... The themes throughout this album, titled 'D'elles,' centre around 'Woman.'

Many of Celine's long-time friends and collaborators, including Jean-Jacques Goldman, participated in this project. Although Goldman did not write any of the songs for this album, he supervised the project and arranged the song lyrics.

Music composers include Jacques Veneruso, David Gategno, Erick Benzi and Gildas Arzel.

The first single "S'il n'en restait qu'une (je serais celle-là)," written by Françoise Dorin, will be released on February 14 in France.

Speaking to Carlos Diaz, the host of Extra TV, Celine Dion casually revealed her plans for 2007. Here they are in order as listed by the star:

1. A new French album
2. A new English album
3. Go on with the final year of A New Day... show
4. Another child sometime after the show is over
5. Building of a new home in Florida

November -December 2006 - Show cancellation info - A New Day... scheduled for Wednesday, November 29; Thursday, November 30; Friday, December 1; Saturday, December 2; and Sunday, December 3 have been cancelled. Celine has contracted a respiratory infection diagnosed as mycoplasma bronchitis, which can be highly contagious. Her doctor has prescribed medication to treat the infection and has given Celine strict orders to stay home and rest in order to recover as soon as possible. Celine also has cancelled her scheduled appearance at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas on Monday, December 4.
