The
key word here is "happy". Both fan dreams end happily
revealing the dreamers' wish to meet Celine. Let's face it - Celine
makes people happy. And as of now, she makes happy not only ordinary
people.
Reading
the latest press release of Chrysler about their partnership with
Ms. Dion, I concluded that now Celine is going to be making car
dealers et al happy. Drive=Love.
I
am wondering if the deal with Chrysler is an example of a new
type of advertising "bait" i.e. "love, devotion
and family" versus good old "sex" which as you
probably know sells. If you don't know what I am talking about,
check the advertising of fragrances. The latest example of a daring
ad campaign would be M7 of Yves Saint Laurent created by Tom Ford.
Tom Ford has taken nudity in advertising to a new level by featuring
a full-frontal male nude model in the ad campaign for his new
YSL men's fragrance.
Anyway,
let's see what happens with Chrysler's sales, and how this partnership
with Celine Dion promoting family values is going to affect Chrysler's
bottomline. Time will tell.
