Interpretation
In the dream Celine is coming home FROM school. How does it feel to leave behind something that you have never been able to enjoy? It feels great! Your pace is getting faster and bigger too. The truth is Celine never liked going to school. She had very few friends from her class, and let's face it - she is one of the most famous drop-outs.
Home, on the contrary was always fun. Lots of music, self-directed shows, etc. Celine was a very imaginative girl. She used to perform in front of a mirror, imitating great singers. Her home, was her concert hall, and the journey there felt like a long-deserved break.
The rubberized surface is a symbol of a strong hold, confidence and connection to earth. It is Celine's mother who has always been the source of that kind of grounded support. This dream of a home-bound kid is a concentrate of one's happy childhood which in turn is a part of what can be called happiness.
